The acquisition adds autonomous cleaning robots to NEURA’s growing mobile robotics portfolio, with ADLATUS systems set to gain new AI and sensor capabilities and integrate into the Neuraverse.
NEURA Robotics is expanding its Physical AI ecosystem to include another important application area. NEURA Mobile Robots is acquiring 100 per cent of the shares of ADLATUS Robotics from Ulm, an established provider of autonomous cleaning robots.
Following the recent expansion of its portfolio with the Bosch Rexroth ACTIVE Shuttle, the company consolidates its aim to bring together diverse robots and applications on a shared physical AI infrastructure, transforming the intelligence of individual machines into a scalable platform.
ADLATUS has been developing autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots for industry, logistics, healthcare, and commercial and public spaces for years. The company has hundreds of systems on the market, its own navigation software, and extensive knowledge of real-world cleaning processes.
NEURO will equip ADLATUS systems with additional sensor and AI capabilities and gradually integrate them into the Neuraverse.
This will enable cleaning robots to move beyond simply following a predefined route and increasingly understand their environment: recognising different surfaces and types of soiling, interpreting situations, selecting appropriate cleaning strategies, and learning from real-world applications. Neuraverse enables the integration of diverse AI models, sensor data, and capabilities. This transforms a specialised autonomous device into an intelligent actor within a larger physical AI ecosystem.
David Reger, founder and CEO of NEURA Robotics, says:
“We aren’t acquiring ADLATUS simply to add another cleaning robot to our portfolio. We want to give machines like this a new brain.
Cleaning is a huge global job market and, at the same time, a perfect example of what physical AI can change. When a robot not only navigates its environment but also understands what it sees, feels, and needs to do, a completely new generation of machines emerges. That’s precisely why we’re building Neuraverse.”
ADLATUS will also benefit from the NEURA Group’s production expertise, international sales network, and technological platform. At the same time, the team contributes in-depth industry knowledge, established customer relationships, and many years of experience from real-world cleaning applications.
NEURA Robotics and ADLATUS have been collaborating in a strategic partnership since September 2025. The first joint public appearance took place at CMS in Berlin.
Andreas Lindemann, Managing Director of NEURA Mobile Robots, adds:
“Our aim is to expand mobile robotics beyond traditional material handling.
Autonomous cleaning is a logical next step in this direction. Looking ahead, we also want to integrate these solutions into our Fleet Manager, enabling additional applications for existing and new customers.
With ADLATUS, we are laying the foundation to strategically expand this business and establish it as a core component of our AMR portfolio with its own product family.”
