Top Iranian security official threatens Trump with death

“Watch out for yourself — lest you be eliminated,” Ali Larijani warns the U.S. president.

A senior Iranian security official on Tuesday directly threatened U.S. President Donald Trump, as the American-Israeli war on Tehran’s clerical regime continues.

Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, warned Trump: “The Ashura-loving nation of Iran does not fear your paper threats. Even those greater than you could not eliminate the Iranian nation. Watch out for yourself — lest you be eliminated!”

He was responding after Trump said he would hammer Iran if it blocked the Strait of Hormuz, a critical energy chokepoint in the Gulf. “If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far,” the U.S. president wrote on Truth Social.

Larijani is a former revolutionary guard and one of the most influential politicians within Iran’s regime, which has appointed a new supreme leader after former ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed in an air strike.

In his post, Trump added: “Additionally, we will take out easily destroyable targets that will make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back, as a Nation, again — Death, Fire, and Fury will reign upon them — But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen!”

The U.S.-Israeli war on Iran has driven up oil prices globally, though they eased after Trump signaled Monday a possible end to the conflict.
