2026 FIFA World Cup draw set for Friday in Washington, DC

The 2026 World Cup draws nearer. The draw for the tournament will take place on Friday in Washington, with notable attendees including US President Donald Trump. The 48 teams will be divided into 12 groups of four and will then have six months to prepare for the biggest sporting event on the planet, which will run from June 11 to July 19.

Manchester United left frustrated again. After an encouraging start to the season, the Red Devils have slipped back into old habits. Ruben Amorim’s men drew at home against West Ham, despite taking the lead in the match.

This weekend’s biggest sporting event will take place in the United Arab Emirates. The F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will crown a champion on Sunday. Three drivers are still in contention for the title, a situation not seen since 2010. Lando Norris is the favorite, but Max Verstappen, trailing by 12 points, is far from finished.
