‘Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants!’ Trump threatens Iran’s civilian infrastructure

“Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran,” rails U.S. president.

U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a new threat to Iran late Thursday evening, warning that the American military would strike civilian infrastructure including bridges and power plants.

“Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran,” Trump said on Truth Social. “Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! New Regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!”

The Pentagon is running out of strategically important targets to hit in Iran, POLITICO reported, even as Trump insists the U.S. will keep pummeling Tehran for up to three weeks.

Earlier Thursday, Trump posted a video of a bridge being destroyed in an airstrike, captioning his post, “the biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again — Much more to follow!”

During the five weeks of U.S.-Israeli war on Iran, Trump has threatened to strike civilian infrastructure including power plants and desalinization facilities, as he tries to break the Iranian regime. The 1949 Geneva Conventions prohibit attacks on objects and infrastructure considered to be “indispensable to the survival of the civilian population.”

Under massive bombardment, Tehran is still resisting American and Israeli pressure, and is using its own leverage to essentially close the Strait of Hormuz — a critical maritime waterway — to drive up energy prices for countries around the world.

Iran has also struck oil and gas facilities across the Gulf, helping spark an escalating global energy crisis.
